Abstract: Final drive gear of big horsepower bulldozer should withstand heavy loads and have high contact fatigue strength and tooth root bending strength. Through test and analysis,22CrNi2 MoNbH degassed steel with enough hardenability was selected for the material of final drive gear,and the carburizing and quenching processes were determined. Each indexes of the gear product can meet the design requirements.
