Abstract: In this paper, the interaction of CHMs and DNA was studied through measurements of fluorescence intensity of fluorescence probe EB （Ethium Bromide）. This experiment showed that the double spiral construction of DNA was disintegrated or was cut after interaction of CHMs and DNA, such that the fluorescence intensity of EB was decreased, but the fluorescence lifetime of EB was not influenced.
