VIBRATION COMFORT ANALYSIS OF PEDESTRIAN-TRACK-TRAIN-BRIDGE COUPLED VIBRATION OF A LONG-SPAN FOOTBRIDGEChinese Full Text

Li Dong;Xiao Yao;Civil Engineering Department,Shanghai University;

Abstract: In order to evaluate the comfort of a long span footbridge under pedestrian-track-train-bridge coupled vibration,first,acceleration time history of traffic load has been obtained by dynamic test.Second,the pedestrian load has been simulated using time-related method and the walking of human populations has been simulated based on Grundmann model.Last,the comfort of the structure with pedestrian-track-train-bridge coupled vibration in four cases has been analyzed through large mass method,which is in good agreement with the dynamic test results.By these procedures,it has been found out the main vibration source resulting in the excess vibration of this bridge.Furthermore,TMD was installed on it,which has controlled the vibration effectively,and according to EN03 standard,the comfort level of the bridge has been improved.
