Abstract: Based on the good energy dissipation performance of domestic steel,a new type of energy dissipation device is presented,the device not only has the total cross-section yield characteristics,but also has the characteristics of phased energy dissipation.Through finite element software ABAQUS for the new type energy dissipation device and its important components monolithic sheet steel consumption for linear load,hysteresis loading and fatigue loading,the energy dissipation mechanism,mechanical property,energy dissipation performance and fatigue performance were analyzed.Results show that the proposed new energy dissipator full hysteretic curve, superior dissipation performance,obvious features of phased energy dissipation,stable performance and had wide application prospect.
