Abstract: A 88 m high steel tower was set up on the roof of the main building of modern media center,all components of the tower were hot-dip galvanized for anti-corrosion.The construction of steel structures for the project featured high altitude operation,minimal work surface and high precision of erecting overall structure,and was difficult to do,hot-dip galvanizing for high strength bolts etc.During the construction factory pre-assembling process was used and some segments were pre-assembled on-site to ensure the accuracy of structure installation.Corner construction method was used for high-strength bolts,laser vertical method was used to control the verticality etc,by which the above difficulties were successfully solved.Ultimately the tasks of the project were fully completed.
