Abstract: This article covered shielding mechanism of the radiation shielding materials,types and properties of the common radiation materials. The research of common radiation cements（ barium cement、strontium cement、boron cement） were highlighted,and the current problems of radiation cement were analyzed. A new multipartite cement was proposed for the development of the radiation cement stably and efficiently.
