Abstract: There were fifteen oil strains isolated from the seawater samples in Shanghai,Dalian and Tianjin respectively. Six strains named D3、T4、R4、T1、D4 and R3 were picked out for their oil degradation rates were over 75%. 16S rRNA sequencing were conducted to identify the six strains, the results showed that D4 and T4 were Pseudomonas sp.,D3 and R4 were Brevundimonas sp.,R3 was Dietzia sp.,T1 was Halomonas sp. Growth characteristics of the six strains in three different culture medium were analysed, the results showed that D4 had a longer adaptation period of 25h,but a shorter period of stabilization in LB culture medium. In glucose culture medium,R4 came into stabilization stage after three days’ culture and had a longer adaptation period, while the other five strains came into stabilization after two days’ culture. In diesel-sea salt culture medium, the six strains had an obvious increase in biomass and the biomass of R3、R4 and D3 were more than that of T1、D4 and T4. Compared with growth characteristics of the six strains in three different culture medium,it is concluded that the growth difficulty consequency is as follows: diesel-sea salt culture medium > glucose culture medium > LB culture medium.
