Rapid generation method of MBD process model based on volume decompositionChinese Full Text

Abstract: To realize the rapid generation of Model-Based Definition(MBD)process model,the maximal machining feature recognition and process route generation methods were proposed based on volume decomposition.The machining features were divided into four categories:simple features,complex features,simple interacting features and complex interacting features.The delta-volume was stratified at the machining direction.The partition surfaces were generated by retrieving the concave edges of complex interacting features,and the features were decomposed into simple features and complex features according to the split sequence.The maximal machining features were achieved by merging all the features according to the combination rules.Based on the positional relationship and type of each feature,the process route was design to generate MBD process models.An example demonstrated that the proposed method could effectively reduce the division times and the number of volume elements,improve the recognition efficiency of interacting features and generate MBD process models rapidly.
