Abstract: Obejective :Population genetic diversity of Euphorbia fischeriana steud with different habitats was assessed by inter-simple sequence repeat(ISSR)technique. Methods :Twelve appropriate primers were selected out from a total of one hundred ones for ISSR PCR amplification, and population genetic structures were assessed by using SPSS 16. 0 software. Results :The twelve primers could amplify three hundreds and fifty three bands. Based on them,a Jaccard’s genetic similarity matrix and a dendrogram were established using SPSS 16. 0 software. The dendrogram showed that Pinellia ternata in different habitat similarity coefficients was between 0.258 and 0.845. The Euphorbia fischeriana steud showed a clear correlation between genetic variation and geographic distribution. Conclusion :These results suggest that ISSR markers could be used as an effective molecular technique for the diversity study of Euphorbia fischeriana steud;ISSR molecular marker technology has an important impact on Euphorbia fischerianasteud germplasm resources division.
