We propose a new fabrication method that combines a dura mater model of a precise human body model with fiber materials and an elastic materials. The dura mater model is fabricated by covering the nonwoven fabric with acrylic rubber. Mechanical characteristics of the dura mater model were measured to compare with porcine dura mater. From the experiment, the dura mater model made acrylic rubber is close to the characteristics of pig dura mater by these tests. Surgical test by a medical doctors was performed with the dura mater models. As a result, a three-layer dura mater model combined acrylic rubber, soft nonwoven fabric, and hard nonwoven fabric obtained a best characteristic.
