This paper reports a monitoring system which is based on the cooperation of an environmental sensor and a mobile robot. The system estimates a person's pose using the environmental sensor. When the person fell down, the mobile robot approaches the person and checks whether the person is breathing, and the recognition result is notified to a tablet PC. We make a prototype of the monitoring system, and confirm that a series of operations is performed automatically.
