细菌生物膜对航天器材料的危害及其防护简述

The harm of bacterial biofilm to spacecraft materials and related protection measures

  • 摘要: 细菌生物膜是造成空间环境下航天器材料腐蚀的关键因素之一。文章简述了细菌生物膜的结构和形成机制、其对航天器材料的危害、主要评估方法以及防控策略,并提出目前防控策略在实际应用中存在的问题。当前的细菌生物膜防控策略主要分为3类:1)修改易感表面的特性以防止细菌生物膜形成;2)调节信号通路以抑制细菌生物膜的形成;3)施加外力以消除细菌生物膜。文章可为造成航天器材料腐蚀的细菌生物膜的防控策略创新和发展提供参考。

     

    Abstract: The bacterial biofilm is one of the key factors causing the corrosion of spacecraft materials in the space environment. In this paper, the structure and the formation mechanism of bacterial biofilm, as well as its harm to the spacecraft materials, the main evaluation methods and the prevention & control strategies are briefly introduced. The problems existing in the current prevention and control practices are pointed out. The current strategies on the bacterial biofilm prevention and control can be divided into three categories: 1) Modify the characteristics of susceptible surfaces to prevent the formation of bacterial biofilm; 2) Regulate signaling pathways to inhibit the formation of bacterial biofilms; 3) Apply external forces to eliminate bacterial biofilms. This review may provide some reference for the innovation and the development of the strategies against bacterial biofilms that cause the corrosion of spacecraft materials.
