Abstract: OBJECTIVE To establish a quantitative analysis method for the content of calcium element content and dracorhodin in Longshi Ointment. METHODS The sample was digested by microwave digestion. The content of calcium element was determined by ICP-AES,and the content of dracorhodin was determined by HPLC. RESULTS The content of calcium in Longshi ointment was40.272 6 mg·g-1 and its linear regression equation was Y = 5 916. 7 X + 330. 31（ r = 0. 999 8）. The content of dracorhodin in Longshi ointment was 2.144 2 mg·g-1 and its linear regression equation was Y = 18 103 X-3 391.8（ r = 0.999 8）. CONCLUSION The method is simple,rapid and accurate,and can be used for the determination of six heavy metals and harmful elements in Longshi ointment.
