ABSTRACT

In today's era, we know that computers play a very important role in our lives. They not only help in graphics software, robotics, web browser, education, and reference software but also play a very important part in the medical field like MRI scans, brain imaging, and surgeries. As we know, our brain is very complex but plays a major role as a seat of intelligence; we can also call it a crown jewel. A neuron is a basic unit of the brain that has the sole motive to convey information all over the body. Neurons are identical to other cells because they also have cell bodies with organelles and a nucleus, and they possess an axon, which passes on information to a certain distance; dendrites, which get signals from adjacent neurons; and synapses, which act as a junction between two neurons that help to transmit signals from one neuron to another. Thus, our senses detect electrical signals from neurons and get activated to respond to any type of stimulus. In this chapter, we analyze the different algorithms and their applications to make the connection between the brain and its functions for diagnosing varied neurological problems. These models work as an antidote to diverse neurological complications that illuminate the dimness of various brain ailments.
