ABSTRACT

Blockchain applications help organizations take precautions to avoid uncertainty and risks that may adversely affect their performance. In particular, blockchain provides a secure infrastructure for all kinds of transactions through its key features such as accountability, transparency, verifiable and reliability. However, the widespread use of blockchain causes many problems to arise. In order to solve these problems, various arrangements need to be made. In this context, this study systematically and comprehensively analyses the literature on the block chain’s ethical judgements and governance implications. While making this analysis, the researchers aim to answer the following questions in the study: What are the ethical implications of applying blockchain applications?" and Are the users of blockchain applications applying good governance practices to mitigate ethical implications?" In the study, PRISMA and CAPS Methods are used in line with the criteria determined in order to determine the articles within the framework of the research questions. In this context, the study evaluates the studies in the literature on how good governance should be based on ethical and moral judgements in block chain practices.
