ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the peculiarities of scientific and methodological approach to the modernization of economic structure of Ukraine National Economy in the context of SD goals. It presents the experience of implementation of the innovations for the SD on the base of EU experience. The chapter focuses on the problems of costs of economic restructuring of national economy. In recent years, the concept of “green” economic growth has created new problems for scientists who arc involved in the formation of the necessary prerequisites for sustainable development. In modern scientific literature the structure of the national economy is considered in the majority of cases from the position of the ratio between the branches of production and in the context of reproductive processes. The process of forming the economic structure can be traced through structural changes that reflect the transformation of relationships between various components of economic system in space and time.
