At 24 weeks’ gestation with a female fetus, a 25-year-old G2P1 female underwent a fetal ultrasound (US) that showed bilateral hydronephrosis with preserved renal parenchyma ( Figure C1.1 ), the ureters were not visualized, and there was a fluid-filled, septated structure in the midline of the lower abdomen ( Figure C1.2 ). The amniotic fluid index (AFI) was normal.
