ABSTRACT

In the current scenario, the protection of food crops from diseases and pests is ascending with an expansion in the human population and its needs. The status and significance of different diseases have changed throughout India. Mindfulness is hard to know the status of these issues and to create management modules to secure these in an eco-friendly way. Integrated disease management is a multidisciplinary approach that appears to be encouraging to oversee diseases successfully by the understanding of social, physical, biological, and chemical procedures. Instructions to make bio-control progressively successful, possible, and mainstream should be explored altogether. Improvement and utilization of molecular strategies for pathogen discovery, opposition recognizable proof and cloning of genes for obstruction appear to be extremely encouraging to understand the objective. Thus, further research thrust is required to create and use new novel technologies and systems like gene cloning, recombinant DNA technology, and other biotechnological and molecular modules to limit the yield misfortunes because of existing and new developing diseases in the light of climate changes. Plant pathologists have an important task to carry out under climate change scenarios.
