ABSTRACT

The provision of face complexes with sufficient quantity of exploded mining mass with the garanteed degree of crushing is one of the major problems of mining science and technology. The crushing degree of rocks is estimated usually with the percent content of the fixed particles in the volume of exploded mass. The new method of prognostication of the granulometre composition of exploded rocks at the quarries by the hole charges of crushing is based at the conformities of explosion development in solid medium with their application to the real conditions of the mining rocks blasting. It allows by the given physical-technical properties of massif, the explosive characteristics, the parameters of the charge arrangement, to calculate beforehand the volumes of the different zones of destruction and the percent content of the fixed rocks particles in them. The total meaning of these values itself is the granulometre composition of exploded mining mass.
