ABSTRACT
Environment of an organism indicates surrounding and everything that affects that organism during its lifetime. It can further be designated as the sum total of water, air, and land interrelationships among themselves and also with the human being, other living organisms and property. It comprises all the physical and biological surroundings and their interactions. Environmental studies give a path to realizing the environment of our planet and the impact of our human life on the environment. As per ecology and biology, the environment is the sum of natural materials and living things including sunlight. The historical environment is the culture and circumstances that a person lived in. A person’s belief and actions depend on his environment. The component of environment include hydrosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere and biosphere. An ecosystem can be visualized as a functional unit of nature, where living organisms interact among themselves and also with the surrounding physical environment.
