Abstract: Objective With the advent of aging society,the number of patients with chronic diseases increased year by year.Chronic disease not only reduces the quality of life of the patients,leading to high mortality,but also brings greater economic burden to the society.Patients with chronic diseases need to reduce complications and improve health outcomes through long-term self-management,good treatment adherence,and positive change of bad habits.Mobile health applications (APP) can help patients improve self-management and adherence,and is gradually favored by medical personnel and patients.This paper summarizes the researches on four aspects:the application of mobile health APP,the implementation effects,deficiencies,and prospects of APP.
