Abstract: Objective To analyze the demand of home care service and its main influential factors in community residents.Methods 1000 families in three districts of Handan city were selected for the questionnaire survey by random stratified cluster.Chi-square test and logistic regression were involved in the analysis.Results The community residents needed several terms of service such as life nursing,cure and health promotion,psychological nursing and rehabilitation nuring.Family circle,with or without chronic disease patient at home and distance from the hospital were the positive factors of the demand of home care service(P<0.05).Education and income were the negative factors(P>0.05).Conclusion Home care service is an important part of the development of community nursing in the future.
