Abstract:
Using the stratified and cluster sampling,7425 middle school students and 65 teachers were selected and investigated.The results show that(1) the correct rates about AIDS basic knowledge that students answered are from 26.8% to 75.1%,the scores are increased along with grade levels.The scores of male students are higher than the female,The scores of students who live in city are higher than that in rural areas.(2) The students have not enough knowledge to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS infection,among which noly 37.7% thought that they can know how to avoid AIDS.The fear to AIDS and discrmination against AIDS patients and HIV infected persons are very common among students and only 10.1% show they can study with HIV infected classmates in the same class.
