Abstract: Public health projects, as an important part of government administration, have played a key role in improving the health of residents. Major public health service projects are population-based strategies for addressing health problems, and their sustainable development has become a new international consensus. The implementations of major public health service projects in China have been increasingly assessed by government and social agencies at various levels. The promotion of major public health service projects requires sustained attention and research. The study reviewed major public health service projects in China and the progress in researches on evaluation on sustainability of public health projects in China and international communities for providing references for sustainable development of major public health service projects in China.
