Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a group of wireless devices called a node, connected with a central monitoring unit and the base station. A sensor network is applied to various fields from the special application fields such as wild environment monitoring, industrial machine measurement, military applications, measurement to the daily application fields such as fire monitoring and pollution monitoring. The sensor node has computation, sensing and wireless communication functions. A sensor network has a limited computing and communication resource. Energy consumed in WSN is another challenge which used during processing and communication. This paper is a review about the energy minimization techniques with their comparison on different parameters.
