Abstract

The experimental potential‐pH diagram of the aluminum water system has been obtained in aluminum salt solutions. A theoretical diagram has been calculated and the comparison between the two has been made. The results may be explained with the assumption of the formation at the surface of the electrode of the two hydride forms and .
