The susceptibilities of the important cultivars were determined by evaluating the incidence of diseased leaves: Zweigeltrebe, Seibel 5279, Müller-Thurgau and Kerner were susceptible to the disease, and Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling were comparatively resistant. Similar tendencies with respect to susceptibility were observed in the potted plants and in the vineyard.
