The study on the user authentication protocol in GSM

ABSTRACT

Today's GSM platform is a successful wireless technology and an unprecedented story of global achievement. GSM platform evolved into 3rd generation mobile communication possibly not only voice call services but also the international roaming and a various kinds of the multimedia services. GSM requires an essential element techniques of a safe data transmission and a personal private protection. However, a crypto algorithm and a secure protocol for a safe data communication using GSM have various kind of problems.
