By Tamagawa Hot-spring bathing, the agglutinin against B. coli communis increased together with occurrence of bathing dermatitis and production of autoantibodies against muscle Mb of bathed rabbits in simple hot spring. The urine which was excreated 1-3 days before the yield of eruptions and during the eruptions, reacted on the serum of same rabbits during the eruptions positively.
These precipitation tests became positive between the urine and the serum which was taken at different times, only when the serum was taken later than the urine, while there was no positive reaction when the urine and the serum had been taken at the same time, or when the serum was taken before the urine. When rabbits immunized with B. coli communis were inoculated with the skin extract of the location of bathing dermatitis, the agglutination reaction against B. coli communis of the same rabbits increased together with production of the isoantihodies.
From these results the outbreak of anamnestic reaction is considered to he due to the promoting action of the skin extract of bathing dermatitis on the place of antibody production.
