Junior doctor contract will be imposed, says Hunt

A new contract for junior doctors in England will be imposed from October this year, the health secretary has said.
On Tuesday 5 July the BMA announced that 58% of junior doctors had voted to reject the proposals. In a statement made in the House of Commons on 6 July, Jeremy Hunt said that there would be a phased introduction of the contract agreed with the BMA in May.
