Black men less willing than white men to be investigated for prostate cancer

Black men are less likely to opt for investigation of possible symptoms of prostate cancer symptoms than white men are, UK research published in the British Journal of General Practice has found.1 The authors said this might explain why black men tend to present at a later stage of the cancer and have subsequent poorer outcomes.
