Multiple sclerosis drug prompts rationing fears

An editorial error occurred in this story by Owen Dyer (14 October, p 969). Dr David Miller of the Institute of Neurology is inaccurately reported as estimating that about 40000 of the 80000 people in Britain with multiple sclerosis might benefit from interferon beta. Given the experience with the drug in the United States he believes that about 10% of people with multiple sclerosis might benefit.
