Abstract―
Parameters and the current state of the development of the highest power neutron source, intended for operation on the beams extracted from the research reactor PIK (NRC KI–PNPI, Gatchina) are reviewed. This facility will determine the strategy of development of neutron studies in the Russian Federation and become a basis of the International Center of Neutron Research.
