Abstract
A system of hierarchal forecast calculations is described, permitting to extrapolate scenario conditions of the country’s socioeconomic development to regions. Estimates of Russia’s “future image” are formulated on the basis of international comparisons. A number of calculations were performed to estimate the possible development of Russian macroregions in the framework of the scenario when the Russian economy achieves the level of developed countries by 2030. Estimates of the evolution of Siberia’s territorial structure are provided.
