Abstract
The possibility of using risk analysis technology for ecological evaluation of desertification is demonstrated. Such risks as: specific physical (year−1), full physical (ha/year), economic (roubles/year), social (persons/year) are evaluated quantitatively per year; the function of land tolerance (reliability) in desertification is also determined.
