Abstract

The dependence of the abrasive-wear resistance of an epoxy–sandy composite on sand content was studied. It was shown that abrasive-wear resistance of such composite is directly dependent on sand content and the maximum value is exceeded at 70 pts. wt of sand. The mechanism of the composite abrasive wear is comparable with the change of the tribotechnical indicators of homogenous materials
