Formation of wirelike structures in dilute solution of chiral compounds

Abstract

The formation of extremely anisometric condensed phase of low-molecular-weight chiral compounds in dilute solutions is considered in detail. A phenomenological description of the formation of wire-like structures consistent with the available experimental data is presented.
