Abstract
We analyze the range of problems that arise in the development of information and reference robots. A model of intelligent direction of a mobile information system on the basis of multimodal interface, providing natural man-machine interaction, is suggested. A set of web-cameras, an array of microphones, and remote sensing technology for speech recognition and human face tracking are used for the user position and the speech request determination.
