Abstract
Two isolated hydradephagan wings and one wing fragment are described from the Triassic of Franconia, Germany. They belong to beetles of one species, supposedly a member of the family Coptoclavidae, and fully comply with the wing ground plan of recent dytiscoids. Specific features of the wings of Coptoclavidae and particular representatives of this family, Coptoclava longipoda Ping, 1928 and Coptoclavella purbeckensis Ponomarenko et al., 2005, are discussed.
