Abstract

An attachment for a personal computer and a control program are described. They are intended to monitor states of eight logic inputs, control eight logic and two analog outputs, and reprogram the timer via electronic mail. Reports on changes in the states of the device’s inputs can be sent automatically or upon inquiry. Only commands sent from electronic addresses specified by the user are executed. The subject line of the electronic letter can be used as a password.
