Two New Species of the Genus Carabus Linnaeus, 1758 (Coleoptera, Carabidae) from the South Caucasus

Abstract

Based on the material collected by the authors in Central and West Georgia, the Caucasus, in 2014–2017, Carabus (Archiplectes) zubovisp. n. from Kvemo Svaneti, belonging to the komarowi species-group, and Carabus (Tribax) shtavlerensissp. n. from Zemo Svaneti, belonging to the agnathus species-group, are described. The distribution of the new species is mapped.
