Abstract
Collective intersubband spin-and charge-density excitations in a system of 2D electrons and the dependence of the excitations on the perpendicular magnetic field are investigated by the inelastic light scattering method. Magnetooscillations of the energies of collective excitations are found, and it is shown that they are observed in the quantum Hall effect regime. The energy of the direct Coulomb interaction of the electrons and its oscillatory variation as a function of the perpendicular magnetic field are measured directly from the energy splitting of the spin and charge excitations.
