Intercalation of ultrafine-dispersed diamond in aqueous suspensions

Abstract

A method for preparing ultrafine-dispersed diamond (UDD) powders with a uniform distribution of metal ion impurity over the bulk of a powder is developed. The uniformity and composition of a UDD sample is demonstrated using x-ray diffraction and chemical analysis.
