Synthesis of 3-R-Sulfanyl-5-amino-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-Carbonitriles

Abstract

Previously unknown 3-R-sulfanyl-5-amino-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitriles were synthesized by reactions of 2-[bis(alkylsulfanyl)methylidene]malononitriles with phenylhydrazine. A similar reaction with 2-(1,3-dithiolan-2-ylidene)malononitrile afforded 3,3′-{disulfanediylbis[(ethane-2,1-diyl)sulfanediyl]}bis-(5-amino-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-carbonitrile).
