Abstract

Liquid extraction of Ga(III) ions with technical-grade aliphatic amines from sulfate media at a temperature of 20 ± 5°C was studied. The composition of the complex being extracted was determined and the equation of the reaction of Ga(III) extraction with primary amines was derived. The equilibrium constant of the reaction of gallium(III) extraction from acid sulfate solutions was found.
