Abstract

Computational procedures for symbol-by-symbol reception of signal ensembles corresponding to binary high-rate convolutional codes and to turbo codes formed by these convolutional codes are described. It is shown that the developed procedures are based on an optimum symbol-by-symbol reception algorithm that uses the fast Walsh-Hadamard transform algorithm.
