Abstract
The dependence of the concentration of the Sn3+ intermediate charge state of two-electron tin centers with negative correlation energy in PbS on the correlation energy is obtained according to the Gibbs distribution. It is shown that this tin state can be detected using Mössbauer spectroscopy for the 119Sn isotope at high temperatures.
