Viscosity of Aqueous Solutions of Polyacrylic and Polymethacrylic Acids in a Magnetic Field

Abstract

Data are presented on the viscosity of aqueous solutions of polyacrylic and polymethacrylic acids inside and outside a magnetic field. It is shown for the first time that a magnetic field greatly increases the viscosity of polyelectrolyte–solvent systems.
