Abstract
A complex of instruments for recording a pulsed component of a very-low-frequency electromagnetic field (∼0.6–8.0 kHz) is intended for continuous recording of the frequency of appearance and amplitude of atmospheric noise, which is caused by the lightning activity in the Earth’s atmosphere, in two frequency regions with simultaneous monitoring of the spectral composition of the noise background at the observation place. The device is based on modern programmable digital and analog integral circuits, which ensure the low energy consumption, compactness, and higher flexibility upon changes in the configuration of the receiving section.
