Abstract
`Coherence Modulation of Light' makes use of the so-called `fringes of superposition' which are produced by time correlations of wave groups of light featuring a short coherence length. We show how such interference phenomena in broadband light can be used to imprint several signals simultaneously on light without crosstalk. This method can be advantageously used in a number of applications in optical telecommunications and optical computing.
